This 1980s built unit in the heart of Fingal Head was in much need of some love. We purchased the unit in 2017 and carried out a full renovation. with help from local tradesman we knocked down walls, extended the front outdoor area and installed a brand new kitchen and bathroom. A full re wire was carried out, the switchboard was upgraded to the latest AS/NZ standards along with all power, lighting and data points. low power LED down lights and LED exterior lights were installed throughout. we also installed a 6kw solar system and 3kw air conditioning unit. A brand new hot water system was also installed in order to operate from mainly solar power. The unit is now unrecognisable from the date of purchase and electricity bills are in credit 0f $500 +.
